Joint Engagement A Step-by-Step Guide  

Are you looking to maximize the effectiveness of your joint engagements? Look no further! Here is your step-by-step guide to ensuring successful 1:1 meetings and webcast claims. Learn how to coordinate attendance, schedule calls, and submit claims for valuable points, all while ensuring you have the right contacts at your customer’s organization. Take a look:

1:1 Meeting Claim:

  1. Coordinate the Microsoft/Intel Rep attendance – if you need to arrange, submit a request via the 1:1 Rep Inquiry Form (LINK)
  2. Add the Microsoft/Intel Rep to the call agenda
  3. Ensure the call is with the appropriate contact at your customer’s organization (all Joint Engagement awards – webcasts and 1:1 meetings – are contact specific)
    1. NOTE: Reps can submit claims for 1 contact per purchasing department. (i.e. If you submit your first claim with Jane Bell, at The Source, you are eligible for 2 more claims with this customer (a total of 3 per half). If you submit a subsequent claim with Veronique Cho at The Source, this would be denied, unless there is a manager’s confirmation of Multiple Purchasing Departments for The Source.
  4. Schedule the call within the program period dates (February 1 – April 30).
  5. After the call has taken place, create a claim on Triple Blitz (link site/form), outlining the following: date, customer name + account, MS/Intel rep on the call, topic discussed.
  6. SUBMIT!
    1. Once submitted, the Microsoft/Intel Representative will validate the claim
    2. When this validation is received, your claim is approved and points are awarded

Webcast claim:

  1. Select the on-demand webcast you would like to invite your customer to participate in, from the current half Webcast Offerings. *Webcasts from previous halves are not eligible for points but remain available in the library to share.
  2. Watch the webcast in full.
  3. To invite your customer:
    1. Send an invitation via the generative invite form, after viewing the webcast yourself
    2. OR, click the ‘Download PDF Invitation’ button on the webcast page to generate a trackable PDF invitation.
  4. Ensure you have the most appropriate contact at your customer’s organization (all Joint Engagement awards – webcasts and 1:1 meetings – are contact specific)
    1. NOTE: Reps can submit claims for 1 contact per purchasing department.   5. Once your customer has accepted the invitation + viewed the webcast in full, your claim will be approved.
  6. All Rep partners of webcast claims must view the webcast in full to receive points for the customer participation/views.
