Shawana Gaines is an executive within the Infrastructure and Engineering Services organization at HP. In this role, she is responsible for all IT services and network management at our 150+ HP offices where she uses the current environment as a catalyst to improve employee experience while enabling employee productivity. Shawana appreciates the challenge this complex model brings and is committed to transforming how HP IT cultivates experiences in our new hybrid workplace. Shawana’s excited to lead the IT organization that puts the “IT” in SITE. Shawana also enables HP’s Infrastructure for communication and sales with external customers as she manages HP’s contact center environment to ensure revenue and brand image.

Shawana joined HP in 2003, starting with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services servicing the Procter & Gamble account where she managed 25+ Enterprise level accounts across Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Prior to HP, Shawana was a manager at Procter & Gamble where she was managed IT programs for the Beauty Care and Food & Beverage divisions.

Shawana is passionate about giving back to the community and known for her magnetic personality and spirit of laughter. She holds a BS in Computer Science from Southern University and obtained her master’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M College – Commerce.

Shawana is based in Houston, Texas, and enjoys time with her family and friends. She enjoys experiencing different cultures through travel, cooking, and service to her community as a board member for Vision Now and member of Delta Sigma Theta.
